6/23/12 Reading at Franconia Sculpture Park, MN plus Community Poetry Workshops & a Grand Sculpture Celebration

I head to Minnesota tomorrow to help sculptor Bridget Beck celebrate the installation of her newest piece, “Poetry Studio.” I’ll lead a community poetry workshop on Friday, 6/22, and participants will create poems in collaboration with the sculpture. On Saturday, 6/23, I’ll team up with poet Wang Ping and her Kinship of Rivers crew for another poetry workshop with Bridget’s sculpture. We’ll round out the day on Saturday with a reading on the sculpture featuring Heid E. Erdrich, Dobby Gibson, Wang Ping, and yours truly. It’s going to be a blast, and we all hope you’ll join us if you’re in the neighborhood!
